Week 31 Catarroja

HELLOOOO crazy week!!!

First of all, can I just say, put two Hermanas with only 7 months in the mission and EXCEPT GREATNESS!!!!!! Boom! SUCH a good week!!! We've just been killing it over here. Catarroja is considered a "hard" area (I don't believe in hard areas) but we, in one week, have completely changed the "normal" of this area. YAY!!!!

So wanna hear a funny thing that we did yesterday? So we have our investigator, Jorge, ya? Ya. So this weekend he was being pretty weird and didn't come to play futbol with everyone and then wasn't answering our phone. So we went to his house to pick him up for church, assuming that he probably didn't wake up and was planning on going. His brother answered the door and told us that he was sleeping. So, claro que he needed some pushing, we went right in and woke him up! He didn't appreciate it haha. But it got him up and moving!
And then we met with him later that day and tried to figure out what his problem was. At first he told us that it was that he didn't have church clothes and felt weird going to church without formal clothes. So we fixed that problem and the elders donated a ton of things (he was so happy it was the cutest thing I've ever seen) and he told us that this weekend he went out with his friends and smoked with them. Bad. So we made a plan for him and HE'S GETTING BAPTIZED FOR SURE FOR SURE IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!

Also I don't know what's normal in other missions, but here, we plan to find 3 news a day and mostly just find 1 or 2. That's pretty normal. But Hermana Clark and I found 5 PEOPLE IN ONE DAY  who want to meet with us and learn about the gospel! It's a miracle! That has only happened to me one other time in my mission. So we are just seeing blessings out the wazoo over here.

Also, speaking of which, we started a book where every day we write down the miracles that we saw that day. It's been so good to look back and see God's hand in our work. I encourage every one of you to do it. You'll start noticing more and more that God is there every step of the way in your lives. :))

Life is so good. Missionary life is the greatest thing ever. Go on missions!

I love you all!
Love,
Hermana Johnson
